"Bridesmaids" breakout star Melissa McCarthy plays a con artist who steals Jason Bateman’s identity in the upcoming comedy release, "Identity Thief," due in theaters Feb. 8, 2013. The film follows the pair in a game of cat and mouse as the real Sandy Bigelow Patterson (Bateman) confronts the I.D. impostor (McCarthy) in order to get his name back.
Judging from the trailer – and McCarthy's giant orange perm – it should be a crazy ride. And since director Seth Gordon previously gave audiences "Horrible Bosses," and screenwriter Craig Mazin worked on "The Hangover Part II," we suspect it will be a funny one too.
Check out the trailer and tell us what you think the comments. Does "Identity Theft" look ridiculously funny, or too over-the-top?
