Sometimes method actor and occasional exhibitionist Shia LaBeouf joins forces with Robert Redford in the Redford-directed thriller "The Company You Keep." LaBeouf plays a rather persistent young investigative reporter in D.C. (Sounding very "A Few Good Men"? We suppose it should.) Meanwhile, Redford stars in his own film as a suspected Weather Underground member on the run. Portland-native Anna Kendrick will also appear in the film as the must-have link to the FBI (and a potential love interest?), alongside Susan Sarandon as an uncovered radical in containment, and Stanley Tucci as LaBeouf's editor.
(Tucci. As an editor? Be still our beating hearts.)
The film will screen on Sept. 9 and 10 at the Toronto International Film Festival, but we've included a video of the trailer below. Thoughts on the film? Comment here.
