Ridley Scott, the director who made his name with the sci-fi epics "Alien" and "Blade Runner," returns to the genre this week with "Prometheus." Scott has been careful to distance the new film from "Alien" after some labeled "Prometheus" a prequel to the 1979 classic.
The highly-anticipated film starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, and Charlize Theron premiered at the Empire Leicester Square in London on May 31. Ahead of its US release this week, take a look at pictures from the premiere, watch the trailer, and tell us what you expect from "Prometheus."
