Oscar winner Kate Winslet and Oscar-nominee Josh Brolin continue filming the Jason Reitman movie “Labor Day” around Acton. On Wednesday and Thursday, the cast and crew were on Piper Road; Winslet’s boyfriend Ned Rocknroll (Richard Branson’s nephew) was at Winslet’s side on set. (They couple was spotted walking around holding hands.) “Labor Day” is based on the book by Joyce Maynard about a mother and son in New Hampshire who wind up getting close to a convict. The movie has already filmed scenes in Shelburne Falls, Mansfield, and Medway.
