What happened to Alex Cox? It’s a question that bedevils movie know-it-alls who think they know the answer. The real answer (if you’re curious, and you should be) is playing at the Harvard Film Archive from Friday through June 11, in a career overview titled “The Anarchic Imagination of Alex Cox.” “Anarchic,” for once, seems an understatement.
