''Panorama Ephemera" skips through a stream of images including pigs at a slaughterhouse, striking workers, ill-fated joy-riding teenagers, and a campy superhero named Safety Woman. In putting this collage together, archivist Rick Prelinger tapped a dizzying array of sources: amateur movies, government propaganda films, and PR reels from car, insurance, and railroad companies.
