With apologies to the makers of ''Shrek 2," ''Spider-Man 2," ''The Passion of the Christ," ''Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," and 2004's other box-office heavyweights, their prowess in theaters didn't necessarily make for quite the same showing on DVD.
