Display focuses on human rights

A series of posters dedicated to human rights is on display in the Ashland Public Library’s downstairs gallery through Nov. 29. The posters address the right to be free from torture, to choose one’s religion, and to receive equal pay for equal work, among others. Placards next to each poster identify the country where it was produced, the organization it was produced for, an English translation if necessary , and the artist and date it was created if known. The exhibition leads up to Human Rights Day on Dec. 10. For more information, visit the Friends of the Ashland Public Library’s website, www.friendsoftheapl.com .
