"Baywatch" actor David Chokachi broke out the board shorts for Saturday's 30-mile standup paddle from Plymouth to P-Town. The Cape Cod Challenge was a fund-raiser for Christopher’s Haven. In an email afterward, Chokachi had this to say: "We raised close to $25 thousand for christophers haven. So it was a huge success. It was kind of a grind, we were in the water at 600 A.M., sweating and paddling. We paddled 30 miles, landed on the beach in Provincetown, 9 and 1/2 hours later. The event started last year with only 8 standup paddlers. This year we had 22, paddlers including Christa Von Derluft, the first female paddler to make the crossing, and also a cancer survivor."
