Video: Matt Damon, Ben Affleck want to take fans on double date
Hang out with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck all in the name of charity? Um, yes please.
The Cambridge actors are auctioning off a once-in-a-lifetime double date night to a fan and a guest. The lucky winner is promised a stay in a 4-star Los Angeles hotel and will be VIPs at a private, star-studded event with the famous pair. Could we smell an Oscar party? Maybe the show itself? March 2 isn't too far off.
The guests might have to deal with some back-and-forth bickering between the super successful duo, though. Watch the video (above) to see what we mean.
If you are already envisioning the glitz of La La Land, purchase entry raffle tickets via an Omaze campaign which will benefit Affleck's Eastern Congo Initiative and Damon's Water.org charities.
Entry prices: 1 for $10, 5-9 for $8, 10-15 for $7, 15-50 for $6.67, and the scale continues to slide up to 500+ for $5 each. Depending on the amount purchased, a contributor will also take home memorabilia like an autographed copy of the "Good Will Hunting" script, and an autographed book version of "Argo" and "The Bourne Identity" (for 300 or more entries).
The contest wraps on Feb. 18. Head to Omaze for more info.
