Don Draper is heading to Boston.
"Mad Men" star Jon Hamm will be in town next week to undergo surgery to remove a polyp from his throat. The 42-year-old actor's rep, Erica Gray, confirmed the procedure to USA Today, stating that it will be a "routine outpatient procedure." The rumored surgery was first surfaced by a source at the Governors Ball Emmys after party who heard January Jones say the actor "recently — and allegedly — coughed up blood," and decided to have the condition checked out, according to Life & Style. Hamm's rep confirmed he will have a "single polyp" removed from his vocal cords during the upcoming procedure.
And sorry, ladies: Specific dates, times, location are not (yet) available.
Hamm was recently in the Boston area in late August when he dined at Beacon Hill's Tip Tap Room before heading to Martha's Vineyard.
