Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart get engaged
"Fashion Police" host Kelly Osbourne is engaged to her beau Matthew Mosshart. The 28-year-old daughter of Ozzy and Sharon and the vegan chef began dating after meeting at the wedding of Kate Moss and musician Jamie Hince in 2011, according to the LA Times. Wedding rumors swirled in January, but Mosshart officially popped the question to his E! red carpet hunny during a recent Anguilla getaway.
"We were on a balcony that overlooks the ocean. It was just beautiful. She said yes! And then she smiled for the rest of the night," the chef told Hello! magazine in an exclusive on the engagement. Osbourne's diamond engagement ring was inspired by a piece owned by her rocker dad and was designed by the TV personality herself.
"I designed it to look like an earring that my father wore," she told Hello! "I used to hold my finger up to his ear when I was little and say: 'I want a ring like that.' Now I have one!"
It's been a rather rough year for Osbourne, who suffered a seizure on the set of "Fashion Police" in March (she was OK) and witnessed a rocky couple of months for her parents (they are also OK), but it looks like a happy ending is on her horizon.
A wedding date has not been set but PEOPLE reports Osbourne "hopes to get married at the house in England where she grew up – with her 15-month-old niece Pearl as ring bearer and her two best friends as maids-of-honor." But should Osbourne take the plunge within the next two years, her contract with E! says her signature purple hair will have to go with her.
Osbourne was previously engaged to model Luke Worrall, who she began dating in 2008 before a social media battle confirmed the couple called it quits in 2010. Currently, the star's tweets sing a different tune:
Thank you so much to everyone for congratulating Matthew & I! We are the happiest couple on earth right now! xoxo
