The baby boom is on this week! Following the much anticipated birth of royal baby and newborns for both Hilary Scott and Penelope Cruz, Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen welcomed their first child Tuesday morning. The baby girl was born early Tuesday morning in New York City, according to the "Late Night" talk show host and his Flower Films producer wife. A rep for the couple told E! that the new parents "are overjoyed about the arrival of their beautiful daughter" and Fallon went on air Wednesday to announce his daughter's name with
all most of the pomp and circumstance of the new royal.
The giddy new dad declared his daughter's name to his live audience: Winnie Rose Fallon.
The 38-year-old funny man went on to thank his fans for their well wishes and jokingly assured the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge that they'd definitely be setting up a play date.
The couple wed in 2007 after Juvonen's Flower Films partner, actress Drew Barrymore, introduced the pair. They manged to keep the pregnancy on the D.L. but Juvonen revealed in 2009 that the couple hoped to add a new baby to their family "soon."
In addition to new dad duties, Fallon will continue to be up late when he steps into Jay Leno's role on "The Tonight Show," leaving his NBC time slot to the newly engaged, fellow "SNL"-er Seth Meyers.
