Justin Bieber found himself on the foul side of some 'Beliebers" when he showed up nearly two hours late for his performance at London's 02 Arena yesterday evening. The "Beauty and a Beat" pop star began his performance at approximately 10:15 p.m. for restless fans. The show, according to the venue's listed start time, was supposed to begin at 8:30 p.m.
Many fans were angered, faced with closing public transit and expensive tickets for a shortened set list. Also younger fans were kept out late on a school night. But the venue came to the 19-year-old singer's defense:
Sorry to all the Justin Bieber fans for the lateness of his show tonight. The Tube will still be running when the show finishes— The O2 (@The_O2) March 4, 2013
i never have any intent to upset or let anyone down. and Im not okay with things being exaggerated. once again sorry for anyone upset.— Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) March 5, 2013
Bieber is scheduled for three additional shows this week at London's 02 Arena as part of his world tour.
What do you think of Bieber's tardiness and his apology? Do you think fans should be reimbursed? Do you think Bieber is taking too much of the blame? Sound off here.
