Two-time Olympic medal winner Michelle Kwan said "I do" to hubby Clay Pell in Providence on Saturday in front of about 250 guests.

The couple married at the First Unitarian Church, built and dedicated in 1816, at 1 Benevolent Street.

Pell, 31, is the grandson of late U.S. Senator Claiborne Pell, and is a director for strategic planning on the national security staff at the White House. He's also a JAG and Lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard, and wore his full dress uniform for the ceremony.

Kwan wore a custom Vera Wang design with an ivory lace overlay and a scalloped hemline. Wang designed "many" of Kwan's skating dresses in the past and told People magazine that she had "a long relationship with her."

Kwan, 32, is the most decorated figure skater in American history, with 43 championship wins, a silver medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics, and a bronze at the 2002 Winter Games.
Fellow Olympic competitors Brian Boitano, Dick Button, and Dorothy Hamill were in attendance.
