The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge made her first public appearance Sunday since her hospitalization for hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute form of morning sickness.

The palace announced her pregnancy Dec. 3.

She attended the BBC Sports Personality of the Year prizes. She wore an elegant green gown and was smiling. Her husband Prince William did not attend. And she did not stay the entire 4 hours. A source told Us Weekly that "she doesn't feel well enough to carry out a lengthy engagement."
