Teenage actor Angus T. Jones apologized for telling people not to watch his hit CBS show, "Two and a Half Men," referring to it as "filth."

Jones ranted about the show in a YouTube video made by Forerunner Chronicles, a Seventh-day Adventist ministry. He also denounced the show to several religious media outlets. His comments include calling himself a "paid hypocrite," reports The Associated Press.

Now, he's issued an apology:

Here is part of the statement he gave to E! News:

"I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that."

The AP reports that Jones, who makes a reported $350,000 an episode, has no plan of getting out of his contract.

And what does Charlie Sheen, who was fired from "Two and a Half Men" after he had what was described as a public meltdown, have to say about it all?

He told E! News: "With Angus's Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it is radically clear to me that the show is cursed."

There has been no official comment from CBS, but E! News reports that a show insider said "everyone was completely blindsided" by the incident and the network has been holding "high-level meetings" about it.

And, of course, the viral Jones clip is already being spoofed. Check out Rainn Wilson, of "The Office," mocking it.

Thoughts on Jones's apology? Do you think he'll stay on the show?
