The cast of "Jersey Shore" is reacting to Hurricane Sandy's devastation to Seaside Heights, the town on the Atlantic where the show filmed four seasons, including the series finale of the canceled show that will air later this year.

The storm washed away much of the "Jersey Shore" town. Buildings were knocked down, streets and homes were flooded, and the famous boardwalk was ripped up.

The cast took to Twitter to share photos, thoughts, prayers, and to urge people to donate to the Red Cross.

Here is some of what they are posting:

From Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi :

Jenni "JWOWW" Farley posted a photo of the devastated boardwalk on her blog, along with some thoughts.

She also tweeted:

Devastation doesn't last forever We can and will rebuild! Thinking about my second family at the Jersey Shore.

And she retweeted this photo by fiance Roger Mathews:

Paul DelVecchio, or "DJ Pauly D," tweeted:

American Red Cross' disaster relief efforts at the Jersey Shore and elsewhere please text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
Thinking of everyone on the east coast stay safe through this horrible time #hurricanesandy

And Vinny Guadagnino tweeted:

Just saw our Police Chief Boyd of Seaside on the news risking his life to save people. #HERO
