"Dancing with the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba will not be dancing at her wedding anytime soon.

That's because 44 year-old Inaba and her fiance, Jesse Sloan, 40, have called it quits.

Inaba was famously proposed to by Sloan, an accountant, on "Live! With Regis and Kelly" in March 2011. After that, she told People magazine that she wanted a seaside wedding so everyone could get their toes wet in the water.

So what went wrong? Her camp will only say: "They decided early in the summer to break off their engagement and have remained friends," People reports.

File under: Marriage misstep.
