With more than 92 million views on YouTube, Carly Rae Jepson’s hit “Call Me Maybe” may be the catchiest song in America right now. The proof? President Barack Obama is featured in a cover of the song.
OK, so it isn’t really Obama singing, but it's close.
The video, which premiered on MTV's Act blog, was created by mix artist Fadi Saleh, 19, who goes by Barackdubs on YouTube. The Obama video has now joined renditions by the likes of the Harvard baseball team, the women’s crew team of Southern Methodist University, and the 2012 Miss USA contestants.
Is this presidential twist the last we'll hear of this summer hit? We’re going to say probably not.
