Maine writer Tess Gerritsen, author of the popular, Boston-based Jane Rizzoli detective novels (which inspired the TNT crime show “Rizzoli & Isles”) was at the New England Mobile Book Fair in Newton on Wednesday night to share her latest release in the “Rizzoli & Isles” series, “Last to Die.” Based on the Book Fair’s description., the novel is about a troubled, orphaned teen who winds up seeking shelter in Maine. Not surprisingly, Rizzoli comes to the rescue.
