But the Marlborough native admits she was still a bit dazed when she got confirmation that creator Marc Cherry will indeed wrap up business on Wisteria Lane this season. “I wasn’t that surprised, I kind of knew it was coming,’’ the amiable redhead told us at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills. “But even when you know something’s coming, even if you think it’s right, you still have that - I don’t know if it’s shock - but that sense of ‘Oh, something’s starting to go.’ It’s right, but it’s very sad.’’ Turns out it was Cross who inadvertently broke the news to Felicity Huffman when she e-mailed her costar to ask if she would be attending the ABC party since it would be “the beginning of saying goodbye.’’ Cross has some ideas about what should happen to Bree, but she thinks Cherry will no doubt exceed her expectations. “He’s a genius about this.’’ Given her shooting schedule, and the demands of two children, Cross doesn’t get home a lot. But she managed a visit a couple of weeks ago. “I showed up on [the] doorstep and surprised my mom and dad and just rang the bell.
