Worth chatting about
At the Monday night opening for his installation “Free WiFi,’’ Worcester-bred artist Brian Kane noticed that partygoers kept checking their cellphones. He apparently thought that was appropriate considering his “Real Reality Project’’ sculpture series is all about technology, Internet icons, and how we interact in the modern world. Instead of scolding the gallery visitors for not paying attention to the art, Kane encouraged them to take out their phones. And to answer your obvious question, yes, the exhibit, which runs through May 13 at the CAC Gallery in Cambridge, features free WiFi.
