Michele McPhee is out at WTKK 96.9. The former Boston Herald staffer and conservative radio host confirmed on her Facebook page yesterday that the station has not renewed her contract. “Three years ago, 96.9 FM gave me a chance to do my own radio talk show,’’ she wrote. “I’m proud of what we created together. In the last year, the station and I began to have creative differences, and I was no longer reaching my full potential in that work environment. Recently, the station informed me that they will not renew my contract into next year. I plan to honor the remainder of my contract and will continue to write for the Boston Herald, books, screenplays, contribute to Fox 25 Boston, and be outraged at government waste, fraud, and corruption.’’ . . . In other radio exit news: WFNX vice president Mike Tierney will leave the station by the end of the year so he can be closer to his wife, who splits her time between New York and London, according to a note that Phoenix Media president Brad Mindich sent to employees yesterday.
