The man behind the iPod
New biography details the two sides of Apple creator Steve Jobs
With death on the horizon, Jobs asked journalist Walter Isaacson to tell his side of the story. I’m not sure Jobs would consider Isaacson’s book a complete success. Workmanlike and efficient, it’s as thorough an overview of the man’s life as anyone could wish, beginning with the stories of his biological and adoptive parents, through his youth in the burgeoning Silicon Valley, his fateful friendship with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and the wild swings of his three-decade career.
