The Boston Public Library collects more than books, and its treasure trove of vintage travel posters is on view at “Away We Go!’’ Travel to 28 destinations and 6 continents covering almost 45,000 miles without a passport or library card. Your journey begins and ends in Boston and covers the 1920s-1950s, known as the Golden Age of Travel. The exhibit also includes travel diaries, maps, guidebooks, and photos.
